Beating the Deadline

I was so busy last night, finishing my three bring home exams, studying for another exam, preparing for my report, and doing some assignments. Whew!!! That’s the prize of procrastination! LOL… I told ya, it’s hard to get rid of something that’s already in your system. But I’m trying hard to change it. LOL….

Anyway, I was still able to finish all the tasks needed to be done. And thanks God, my examination grades are okay as well as my report.

Now I can relax, sleep earlier, and recharge myself.

Online Shopping Center

 “I can’t get my eyes over you,…..
 Can’t stop my hands holding you…. …. Ooohhh…. ”

(tune of I Can’t Get My Eyes Over You)
And ...

(tune of Old Mc Donald)
And a click, click here
Click, Click there
Everywhere I click, click

Oh my!!!!!

Hey I’m singing. LOL

Well that’s what I exactly feel when I was doing window shopping online this morning. I can’t get my eyes looking at the items and I can’t stop holding my mouse and clicking its links going to my favorite items like arts and craft materials, accessories, home and garden, techy stuffs, collectibles and memorabilia, etc. They offered wide variety of items that is being categorized. It’s like a department store right on your screen. They just don’t sell; they also give information, tips and guides. Somewhat like a tutorial. Then perhaps I will visit this site often to get some tips on crafting.

Did I mention collectibles? Oh yes! I almost forgot what I wrote. LOL…. I’m so engrossed with the products. You know I collected stones before and I saw some awesome stones in this online shop. If I have plenty of money I’m pretty sure I can’t stop myself spending. LOL…..

But, hey! I’m a wise spender. I know with this online shop I’m buying items that is useful and what I do really love and will make me happy and others perhaps. And I bet two shopping carts are not enough. Hmmmm… How about A container van? LOL….

Blogvertise

I received an email confirming that I am now a certified blogger for Blogvertise. Yepey!!! In less than 24 hours they approved my blog. That’s the fastest based on my experiences on other blog advertising networks.

Advertise On This Blog

Blogvertise is a blog advertising network. All you need to do is just keep on buzzing!!! You write a review for a certain products or services and they will pay you for your effort. Isn’t that great? But first you must have a 60 days old blog and have it register at Blogvertise. And it's absolutely free!!!!

My New Digi Cam

Finally, I got my new Sony DSC W230, a gift from my sister, Jeia

 Isn’t that sweet?

Supposed to be it’s her surprised gift to me, but she was unable to hold the secret when she read my post, Double D Must-Have for 2009. Double D stands for Digital Camera and Dental braces.

I can finally post quality pictures, especially on my blog Colour which is basically about arts and crafts and that includes photography.

Thanks a lot Jeia!!!!!

Bad Hair Day

I always had a bad hair day. It’s totally unmanageable – dry, fussy and flies away!!!! Sometimes I’m tempted to go to parlor and have it straightened. But I know it will only last for 6 months and will only destroy my hair. Besides fake straight hair looks stiff. What I want is something that is voluminous and every strands of my hair follows where I want them to place. LOL
.
Genetically, I’m really bound to have a hair like this. LOL… My father’s hair is curly while my mother’s is straight. I’m even luckier according to my sisters, because among 7 siblings I was the only one with a wavy hair (almost straight); blessed enough because all of them are curly and one of them has kinky curly hair. LOL... Well it doesn’t mean I don’t like curly hair. I love curly hair. I just hate my uncontrollable hair, and I feel very untidy with it.
.
I think I’m going to blame my older sisters. When I was young I have a very soft straight hair. But my sisters destroyed it. Grrrrr ……. LOL… They are fond with my hair and played with it, perhaps because I was an innocent youngest child in our family. They curled it using stalks of cassava leaves or broomstick. I tell you, it’s effective for curling hair and I honestly love it. LOL… And I really felt pretty with it. LOL….. But of course it is only good for one day. So to satisfy their pleasure they sent me to parlor and have it curled. Have you seen one of the characters in Peanuts (picture seen below)? That’s what my hair exactly look like; curled in the front/bangs area then the rest is straight or sometimes curly bangs and curly tips of my hair. Figured it out? Promise, as a naïve child, I love my hairdo. LOL…..

Now, whom should I blame with my almost every day bad-hair-day? Genetics or my sister’s fondness? LOL…..

P.S. I love my sisters…..

A Cure for PWP Disease

Napoleon Hill - "What ever the mind can conceive, and believe, the mind can achieve. "

I agree with the power of mind. And I think this is one remedy for my PWP ailment. (For those who haven’t read my post about the PWP disease, PWP is Pessimism, Worrying, and Procrastination.)

Now I’m converting this PWP into something positive.

Starting today, July 13, 2009, I will apply this mind exercise

Web Directory

One way of selling your products is through advertising, it could be posters, streamers, through media, and the most popular especially when you are targeting consumers all over the world is through the world wide web. But having a quality website is not enough. You must build a website that is searchable and with a good traffic. One way of creating traffic and improving your link popularity is by submitting your website to web directories.
.
Web directory is a collection of website addresses. These websites have contents which are related to a particular thing. It specializes in linking to other web. The links are organized by topic and being categorized and subcategorized into a more defined subject. Therefore, web directory is like refining your searches.
.
Web directories often allow site owners to directly submit their site for inclusion, and have editors review submissions for fitness. Your listing consists in your website's title, URL and description. Submitting your site is easy, just browse until you found the best category for your website. It is usually maintained by expert and well trained human instead of software. And the approval is fast; usually it may take 24 hours or less.
.
Increasing your visitor through web directory is not costly as what you have thought. There are many free web directories listed in the World Wide Web. But some web directories require back linking or reciprocal linking from your site. This means a link back to the directory must be added somewhere on the submitted site in order to get listed in the directory. Or you can have the paid-submission-web-directory, a one-time or recurring fee is charged for reviewing/listing the submitted link.
.
Examples of well known, general, web directories are Yahoo! Directory and the Open Directory Project (ODP) also known as DMOZ (Directory Mozilla). ODP is significant due to its extensive categorization and large on the web and its free availability for use by other directories and search engines.
