“It’s the most wonderful time of the year” as an old song goes. This is the season where everybody in our family looks forward especially the kids. It’s a sort of our family reunion.
This time we changed the usual way of giving gifts. Instead of us buying gifts for the kids, we decided to change it by doing chris-Kringle. The kids were given Php 100.00 each to buy a gift [worth Php 100.00 and BELOW] for their manito/manita. My mother emphasized that this is done to teach everyone in the family especially the kids on the value of giving. That’s actually the spirit of Christmas giving and sharing.
