The Porcupine Flower
Okay I admit I do not know the name of this flower. But please allow me to call it “Porcupine Flower”, because of the thorny look of its petals. But unlike porcupine, it doesn’t sting when you touch it; it’s actually delicate and soft to touch. When it withers, the individual or group of petals forms like a rose, it turned like tiny bouquet of roses. Too bad I forgot to take a photo of a withered “Porcupine Flower”.
Pretty flower, nice photo. Thanks for dropping by.
ReplyDeleteThats a funny name for it! Looks really like this :) LG Tina

Hahaha I was gonna say, that is not the name of that but it's a perfect name for it as it looks like one lol..
ReplyDeleteWhat an unusual flower--very pretty though. Nature sure comes up with some "interesting" things, doesn't it! Have a nice week. Mickie :)
ReplyDeleteSo pretty. It actually looks soft to me so I believe it doesn't sting.
ReplyDeleteWhatever the name, it's lovely!
ReplyDeleteCOLOR DILEMMA
Yellow or red—which shall it be?
Red for you and yellow for me?
Perhaps you’d rather have yellow instead—
Which leaves me, of course, with handfuls of red!
Whichever hue you decide to choose,
I’ll take the other—no one will lose!
