June 17: My Parents’ Wedding Anniversary

My parents’ is celebrating their wedding anniversary today…

My mom asked my father that they’ll spend overnight at the beach but my father opt to celebrate their wedding anniversary at home; she’s hopeless romantic and he’s the “kill joy” type….. LOL…

Though they have differences but still they manage to keep their relationship strong. In fact they are celebrating the 33 beautiful and blissful years as husband and wife today!

I received the Olay freebies [I won] last Friday. It’s actually half-open. I guess the courier was force to open it since there’s no name and address of the sender. Anyway the package is still intact when I got it.

“UK” Skirt-Short for My Niece

I love UK clothes now! It’s cheap and you can even find signature items. However it requires a lot of patience digging files of clothes, shoes and bags. But there are boutiques that sell selected UK clothes and arranged items neatly. I opt going there though it’s quiet costly compare to UKs found along the streets but it’s easier to look for nice items.

For this week I found this cute skirt-short (it’s a short but the front looks like a skirt) for my niece.

It has still it’s original price tag

Weekly giveaway and meme in one? That’s so much FUN! I’ve been in the blogosphere for almost 4 years and I only recently joined meme. Yes, blogging is so much fun but it’s more fun when you interact with other bloggers. Hmmm.… Why I didn’t realize it when I started blogging? Anyway, it’s not too late for me. In fact, there are many memes out there where we can participate. And this one, the Weekly Giveaways and meme, is so much fun and exciting!

For this week the prize is hosting!!! Oh lala…. I badly need it ‘coz I’m planning to create another blog which will be co-authored by my sister. Since she’s working abroad then this blog will bind us together and serves as our common ground (?) in expressing our thoughts, ideas and opinions. I experienced sleepless nights thinking of this idea. My mind is getting wild, ideas just keep on bouncing in my skull, eardrum to eardrum…LOL

The Porcupine Flower

Okay I admit I do not know the name of this flower. But please allow me to call it “Porcupine Flower”, because of the thorny look of its petals. But unlike porcupine, it doesn’t sting when you touch it; it’s actually delicate and soft to touch. When it withers, the individual or group of petals forms like a rose, it turned like tiny bouquet of roses. Too bad I forgot to take a photo of a withered “Porcupine Flower”.

 

Sony Bravia LCD from Sister Jeia

My sister, Jeia, surprised my parents with 40” Sony Bravia LCD with the home theatre package. Both my parents can’t sleep on the day they received the gift: my frugal mom was shocked with the price (LOL) and my father on the other was super duper excited.

Actually, it’s my sister’s gift for them on Mother’s day, Father’s day and their Wedding Anniversary on 17^th day of June.

My generous sister actually saved money for this, especially when she learned that our old Heier TV shows only half of the screen. We are so grateful with her; living with my parent’s means I can also enjoy the TV. (*wink*) …
