Orthodontics Benefits You Might Not Know Much About

Sometimes smiling is something that we end up avoiding at all costs because of various problems that would make our smile look bad. Covering mouths when smiling is much more common than what you might think at the moment. In most cases the wish to cover the mouth while smiling appears because of teeth that are crooked, misshapen or that simply look bad.

The orthodontist is the one that helps you to solve problems like the ones mentioned above. You can see an example of such a service here but we are sure that you already know some things about such services. Orthodontists are basically dentists that re specialized in dealing with crooked or misshapen teeth.

Obviously, orthodontics are regulated and you need to be licensed in the country where you do work as a dentist in order to perform such work. Always work only with the dentists that can prove that they have such accreditation.

Orthodontist Work

The orthodontist is a dentist that is also registered to perform orthodontic treatments. It is just as a general doctor is specialized in dealing with neurological problems. In order to practice orthodontics, you have to be registered. Getting new clients is something different though as in many cases experience is something that is really important for the orthodontist. In most situations you will see that the orthodontist deals with straightening misaligned teeth. That is normally done with the use of dental aligners and braces.

Why Go To An Orthodontist?

The orthodontist will help deal with self-esteem problems but this is not the only reason why you should go to this specialist. When you have teeth problems, you can end up with different problems, like:

  • Speech problems caused by lisps.
  • Chewing problems.
  • The teeth can end up being cracked or chipped because of the effect of other teeth.
  • Chronic dental complications can end up being a lot worse.

It should be quite clear why you would want to go to the orthodontist. If you really want to have a smile that is breathtaking, this is the only solution that you really have. Teeth have to be straight. Statistics show that around 90% of people that went to the orthodontist felt a lot better and much more comfortable because of the work that was done. When you go to the orthodontist, you have various benefits that appear, like:

  • Bite correction
  • Facial aesthetics improvements
  • Teeth damage possibility reduced
  • Dental arches are aligned
  • Dental crowding is eliminated
  • Teeth drifting is reduced

To put it as simple as possible, whenever your teeth are not positioned as they should be or you feel discomfort because of how your teeth interact with each other, it is a really good idea to visit an orthodontist. The great thing about it is that you do not really need to know much about the process. The specialist is going to easily take care of problems. However, you need to be sure that you are going to always respect the indications that are offered.

Nude Efffect Using Covergirl TruBlend Liquid Makeup

I received a Covergirl Trublend Liquid Makeup in Golden Beige M3 shade thru BzzAgent.

To be honest I am hesitant to use this product since I read a lot of reviews that it caused them skin breakouts. I’m scared because I’m prone to it. But I have to try it and deal with the problem later when it will exist.

First impression is that the shade I chose is too light for my skin color. I might look like a white lady. But surprisingly it is not. It actually blends well on my skin creating a nude effect. It doesn’t totally cover blemishes but somehow it lightens its appearance. It also minimizes the appearance of my pores.

My other concern about this product is that it might be oily. But actually not. As you blend the product to your skin it actually looks like you are applying powder.

Nude effect with Covergirl TruBlend Liquid Makeup

As of the breakout concern, well currently have some tiny pimples but I can’t really tell if its caused by the product or due to hormonal change. I will be using it daily and see  if it will cause any skin problem.

{Review} Covergirl Lashblast Fusion Mascara

So it's been a month since I used the Covergirl Lashblast Fusion Mascara. I've been talking about how great the product is through my social media accounts and my other blog. But I can't help myself write about it again here in Spices of My life.

Covergirl Lashblast Fusion Mascara has been my favorite among other mascaras I used. In fact it's the only mascara I used for the longest time. Why?

  • It enhances the look of my eyelashes.
  • It lengthens and volumizes my lashes which makes my tired-looking eyes livelier.
  • It doesn't smudge when I rub my lashes. Unless of course if my fingers are wet.
  • No clumps.

Look how it enhances the look of my eyes

The only cons I noticed with this mascara are as follows:
  • It doesn't hold curls. Or probably it's just my stubborn lashes.
  • The handle is quiet big. I have this awkward feeling when applying the mascara.
  • Brushes on the tip part are way too short, widely apart and the core circumference is quiet big which makes applying mascara to the lashes of the corner of my eyes harder.

It might not be the perfect mascara for me, but definitely I will consider buying it or will try other Covergirl Lashblast Mascara in the future.

Disclosure: I got Covergirl Lashblast Fusion Macara and discount coupons for free thru BzzAgent in exchange of my honest opinion.

Week 22: Laugh

I love people who make me laugh. I honestly think it's the thing I like most, to laugh. It cures a multitude of ills. It's probably the most important thing in a person.
~ Audrey Hepburn ~
I admire a person with  a smiling face simple because I am not gifted with it. Often people misinterpreted me as a grumpy woman. Nope I'm not! It's just my face. Thus I'd love to hang out with people who loves to smile and laugh often because I believe it's contagious. My sister, Jean, has this ability. She laughs even over small things. Our mother even came to the point on telling her to refine her voice, but it will only makes her laugh more and louder.

Being with her here in Canada is the greatest medicine to kill my loneliness and ease my anxieties. Her positive attitude radiates that influence me to think and act the same way. I may not laugh out loud like her but somehow, her presence made everything so light and easy.

Week 19: Act "As If"

"Begin with the end in mind"
"Things are created twice"

Those are the lines from Stephen Covey's popular book, "The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People" that my mother will always say when she conducted a seminar for personal growth or alike. In order for us to realize our dream we first create it in our mind, from then we are guided on what to do, meet people that will help achieve our plans and eventually reach the goals that we've been planning. In the said book, Stephen encourages his readers to create their mission statement - our blueprint.

Since when I was a child, I have seen so many people struggling to meet their daily needs. We are not rich, but I witness a lot of people coming into our house asking for financial help, and it happens almost everyday. It breaks my heart seeing them dying without even experiencing a luxurious life even for a day or at least eat three times a day and go to bed without worrying what to eat the following day. With that, it's been rooted in my mind to alleviate myself financially. It's been my mission to help other people.

Coming here in Canada is a blessing, I've helped some of my love ones and friends. But once again I am facing a challenge. In two months time my contract will end because of the changes of the immigration policies. My only hope is my application for residency but the chance is so slim to get it. Even though I have savings, I know it will only vanish if I don't manage it well. It worries me because I am going home jobless. How could I continue with my vision?

But again,  I am reminded not to loose hope and that wherever I go with God's guidance he will be with me. Recently, amidst all the anxieties I feel, I was able to create my vision. To build an empire, a business, a group of companies that will provide job especially to my relatives who are in need of job. I would like to see them being freed from poverty.

My vision is big, but I claim that I will achieve it. It's my way of realizing my mission of helping other people

Week 18: Dream Really BIG

I've been going through some emotional turmoil in life and and feel like I have no direction to go. Then I realized I have to act and never stop dreaming though the  future seems to vague at this time.

I recreated my dreams, my goals, and my vision in life through illustrations. I know I can simply cut picture of my dreams and have it pasted in my goal book (which I did for my other goals), but drawing makes me internalize more the goals in my life that I want  to achieve.

I believe visualization your dream will make it more achievable. It will conspire all the positive energies in the universe to make all these goals in life into a reality.
