Webhosting Guide
You can choose free webhosting or a paid webhosting. Most personal sites choose the former but if you are making a site for professional or marketing I suggest the paid hosting because they offer unlimited services. But whether free or paid it’s important to pick a reliable and stable provider and consider its services offered including its technical services. Say for example the space and bandwidth, many files to upload needs large amount of space. And with many users and data transfers requires wide bandwidth.
It’s also important to pick web host provider that has 24/7 costumer’s services especially if your site is for marketing or professional purposes. You might encounter technical problems, and missing one day means missing customer. That’s why costumer service is also necessary to get information and answers quickly and thoroughly.
Sweet Blog Award
I’m wordless. I honestly don’t know what to post. LOL…. But there’s no reason for me to thank Faye of Me in the Dutch Society for giving me another award, the Sweet Blog Award. Yes another, because Faye is generous enough to give me another cute award, she always gave me awards… And gave me reasons to blog….
Thanks a bunch Faye!!!

Lost and Found Eye Glasses
I was looking for eyeglasses in the internet, because my mom needs a new one. I stumbled in an online store for eye glasses, the zennioptical.com, where you can find different styles of eye glasses from very simple to sophisticated style. And each was intricately designed, chic and classy.
Looking at the eyeglasses reminds me of one incidence, just happened recently...
We’re almost late yesterday morning because my sister’s eye glasses was lost and wanted to trace up it to the store where she had gone on the other day. She’s a little bit dismayed because it was newly purchased and its quiet expensive. But her kids were more dismayed because every stop means losing a single minute for them to catch up school before the ring bells... LOL
Unable to find it, she’s decided to purchase a new one since she needed it badly. It’s here partner since her teen years. And as if she can’t live without it. Surprisingly their working student found it in the shoe rack this morning.
I think it’s a proof that my sister is really getting older. LOL… (shhh…) And she honestly admits it! Good thing she found it timely or else my sister might spend another thousands pesos for her eyeglasses.
Extra Work, Extra Excitement
Now my hands are itchy... can't wait to do the task... LOL....
Forgot to take a pic! (sigh...)
Getting Ready
Anyway, you’ll probably ask why I enrolled in Masters Degree in Information Technology. The very reason is that I’m widening my chance to get a job. You know IT is one of the most in demand profession in this digital age. Besides I’m also aiming to apply as college professor.
To be honest with you, I wanted to quit. But since I already started this then might as well finish this degree. I know this wouldn’t be easy but with the resources I can get through the internet then I think I’ll be able to understand the whole IT thing (sigh…). I am now collecting ebooks and pdf files for my reference. Just good I found a new pdf search engine.

Art of Disney
I also love the scenes where the villain losses and when the prince charming rescues his princess… and they live happily ever after… LOL…. Hopeless romantic…
What I also love is the cartoon movie itself, the story line, concept, production, music, the voice over, and especially the drawing. The Art of Disney never fails… very realistic and very fascinating to the viewers especially to kids.

Saving

My mother would always remind us about the importance of saving money and investing. Coz we do not know what may come ahead. A saving of 1,000 peso per month is already 120,000 after 10 years. It’s just a matter of discipline.
To assure that you save at least 10% of what you have earned here’s a very simple formula: Salary – Savings = Expenses. Always keep in mind that what you earned is your salary least the savings. Do not overspend. Live with your means.
I know it can be tempting to withdraw what you have saved in the bank. Especially when you saw nice items that is on sale. And you will just make a promise that by the following month you’ll double the savings. I believe you will end up promising yourself every month to double it and after ten years you’ll be surprise you haven’t save the target amount. That’s why I suggest you put it in a time deposit account or if you invest it in a life insurance company. And much better if you do both, save some amount in the bank and some for the insurance company. This could be hard especially to those who doesn’t value saving. Just think this benefits you and your family!

A New Look

I tried the new feature of blogger, creating a design template, in my other blog Life Ascending. I love it because there’s no need for me to re-add the gadgets like links and blog roll which is very tedious on my part; unlike before when you change the template, it also means losing almost all gadgets that your site had already installed.
I love my old template. But I also want to try a new look for my blog, especially that I have also seen some blogs using the same template as mine. Like the ad on axe for men, I also get easily bored. You know women!!! LOL….
Changing template, for me, is like changing my outlook in life and this is a good start…

Back to School Again
Search Engine Optimization

One aim that a blogger like me wants to achieve in the blogosphere is to have a high page rank. High page rank means more tasks for the paid to blog networks. This is also true to website’s owner especially if they are selling online – to be on top, accessible to anyone who is searching for a certain product or a keyword. When someone is searching using the search engine, the first top ten suggested website will be most likely to be browsed.
To be on the top, you must create a traffic -keep the world wide web buzzing around your site. Surely your site will be on the top suggested list.
There are many ways in creating traffic. One simple strategy applicable to blogger is to blog hop, exchange links, inviting everybody to leave comments and visit your site, etc. But his could be tedious. You’ll end up hopping and inviting visitors the whole day but you cannot rely if they’ll visit back.
Another way is through search engine optimization (SEO), the fastest way of creating quality traffic to a website. SEO considers how search engines work and what people are searching. It applies definite approach that is specific for your site that involves editing its content and codes to increase its relevance to exact keywords depending on your target readers.
Seo company has been growing vastly because of the internet marketing – the trend of selling, giving information, entertaining, and even earning online.

Online Review for LET
I searched for an online review before but unfortunately it doesn’t work in my computer because of some plug-ins that are missing. But I didn’t stop there instead I used the resources I could get from the world wide web. Remember internet is very rich in knowledge/facts/resources. But you also have to be careful in picking reliable sites since some are from personal point of view; not based on facts, Scientific evidences, or principles. And you could possibly land into websites that are misleading.
Anyways, In my case, since I major mathematics, I looked for an online Math review. And found some sites that are interactive with their online Math tutor. I tried it once as trial for the online tutoring. It’s effective way of learning, at the same time it’s fun. I wasn’t able to continue the interactive way of learning because of the time constraints. Instead I browsed some sites with Math problem solver where I could find ways or approach in solving math problems.
With the online Math help I was able to used my time wisely. I spent my free hours at work for reviewing Math and spent two hours at night for professional education and general education.
But remember when you really aim to pass the exam you have to focus yourself in reviewing, forget about the facebook or other social networks. I know it’s tempting but it really takes a lot of discipline in your part. During my review I take a vacation outside blogosphere…. But I also sneaked…. You know blogging is addictive. LOL…
I hope this will help. Good Luck!!!

VOIP: Connecting People
The first month was hard for all of us, especially when she sends picture. But with all the technologies that are provided today, connecting with love ones is not difficult. I am lucky since I have an access in the internet. Our communication is constant through Yahoo messenger or Chikka. But of course it’s different when you hear each other’s voice. Thanks to those who created the VOIP – the cheapest way of making international calls. It is also called Internet telephony, a voice conversations over the internet. I couldn’t elaborate it further but in case you’re interested check truvoipbuzz.com – your ultimate VOIP Resource.

God’s Message for Me
Maybe God has seen this hatred in me because when I open SFC’s website to read the scripture God told me to forgive…
“Bearing with one another, and forgiving each other, whoever has a complaint against anyone; just as the Lord forgave you, so also should you.” (Colossians 3:13)
Truly God speaks to me; so as to you. Just listen…
Trip to Eden Nature Park
Anyway, we spent the mother’s day at Eden Nature’s Park – one of the most visited spots in Davao. I longed this for a very long time ago, that’s why when my sister invited me to go with them I didn’t hesitate to say yes.
The cool breeze despite of El Niño and the familiar wild sunflowers growing along the way going to Eden’s Nature Park made me feels like I’m in Tagaytay (Oh I miss that place… sigh)
We have to rent a van, Php 65.00 each person, for us to explore the beauty of 80 hectares mountain resort - Eden nature Park. First stop is the flower garden... Different varieties of flowers painted the nature against the greenery backdrop.
Organic farming: vegetables and herbs that is cultivated at the top of the mountain. The picture below shows the garden and the Davao gulf.
95 % man made: the area was a victim of illegal logging and was developed by the owner of Eden Nature Park. Fern's are part of the 5% of the original. It is already half-decade old.
Paths are carpeted with green-like-fabrics. .......
Exciting outdoor games like Indiana Jones are also provided.... We were having fun with this game....
My sister won a gift certificate - two tickets for the sky rider or the famous Zip Lining.... the most exciting game!!!
Full-geared, ready for the sky riding......
Battery empty!!! (sigh...) I wasn't able to capture our experience with zip lining...

Why my title has a “Magic” word on it? She actually blurted those words the only clear words that came out from her mouth, and the kids decided to call her MAGIC.
